Sometimes children can be nervous about visiting a new place. They may have questions about where they are going, who they will meet, or what we will expected of them.

In order to help, we have created some social stories that you can use with your child. These stories are very simple stories with pictures that will show them where they will go, who they will meet and what they will do.

We recommend that you print off the appropriate story and show it to your child a number of times before their first appointment. Hopefully this will help them to be more relaxed when they get here and to enjoy their time at Laura’s Place.
